“Slow Food” is an ideology originally started in Italy and has now spread across more than 160 countries, which encourages people to take a new fresh look at local and traditional foods, as well as food culture. The City of Kobe has been carrying out programs in collaboration with Slow Food. By promoting Kobe’s cuisine and agricultural products to specialists around the world, we can develop new cuisine from a global point of view, using global knowledge, as well as raise citizens’ awareness about cuisine.
